My Journey
Coming from a background in economics and computer science, I may not seem like the most natural fit for this job. However, after eight years of trying to have my second child and experiencing numerous unsuccessful in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments due to unexplained infertility, I received a newsletter promoting the use of acupuncture in combination with IVF and the increased chances of success.
With nothing to lose, I decided to give it a try.
During my first IVF treatment combined with acupuncture, I became pregnant! It was an amazing surprise and I was eager to understand how it worked. As someone who had previously been skeptical, I now had firsthand evidence of the success of Acupuncture in the form of a little child running around (the IVF protocols stayed identical).
As I studied and learned more, I discovered a passion and my true calling.
The rest, as they say, is history!
My Mission
Chinese medicine has a rich history spanning thousands of years and is renowned for its effectiveness in addressing various health issues and promoting overall well-being. My goal is to assist individuals in overcoming a variety of problems, such as pain, emotional and physical challenges, chronic illnesses, and skin conditions through non-invasive and holistic means.
I consider the full history of each person I work with to deliver the most suitable and harmonious treatment.
My Vision
As therapists, we view the body as a whole, taking into account factors such as tone of voice, skin color, body language, and the problem you come to us with. This holistic approach allows us to tailor a treatment plan specifically for you.
Listening is key to our approach. But it's not just about listening with our ears. We also need to listen with our minds, our eyes, and our hearts, and be fully present and attentive to every little detail. This allows us to fully understand your unique situation and provide the most effective treatment possible.
